Recording message from wave file to announcement board?

We have a series of annoouncements that are in an MP3 format that we need to load on a new announcement board. What is needed to accomplish this? We can produce any possible format necessary but do not know how to do a direct upload to the board? We do not want to put the handset to a speaker because of quality concerns.

What type of announcement board are you trying to record to? VAL board or an old analog board?

It is a new Val board that we have installed to replace an analog board.

You need the application Voice Announcement Over LAN Manager.

Announcement recordings must have the following parameters:

CCITT A-law or Mu-law
Mono
8 Khz sample rate
8 bit resolution

The name of the announcement must not have spaces.
Ex:"CLIENT_TO_IVR"
