Reconnecting a Delete user

How do I reconnect a mailbox when the user was deleted. In System manager I have the option of reconnecting or purging the account. However when I select reconnect only certain users show up as being able to reconnect to?

When you sselect reconnect, it should only let you connect to users who do not have a mailbox.

Go into AD Users and Computers. Create a new account, but do not create a mailbox from it. Then, go into Exchange System Manager, and choose reconnect. It should only you to connect to that user you created.
