Reconnect to ODBC database

I am using MSDE for the connectivity of my database.
I had to re-install it on the server for our network.
I made backup copies of the database and installed MSDE.
The .mdf and .ldf files are in the same folder location, but I can not connect to them.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1-1/2 years of work at stake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try using sp_attach_single_file_db to attach the database file. Robert Bradley
