I've programmed in other languages and need to start some VBscripts for ActiveDirectory reporting. Can you share with me title(s) of quality reference manuals for someone new to VBscript language?

Thanks!
Steve

I'm relatively new to VBScript and I've found this reference book handy...

Also, google search and you'll find answers to almost any VBScript question out there somewhere.

ISBN 1-57870-219-4 is a good place to start with all things Domain\AD\LDAP\ADSI

VBSCRIPT in a Nutshell" by Paul Lomax, Matt Childs & Ron Petrushka (O'Reilly) is by the far the best, most useful reference book.

"Microsoft Windows Scripting" by Ed Wilson (Microsoft Press) ties beginning scripting and the various environments (including Active Directory) together. Has lots of code examples that are easy to follow.

"Windows 2003 Scripting Guide" (Microsoft Press) is another, more expansive book. Lots of code examples and explanations of how the environments and components work together.

Good thing I work for a book distributor! I'm off to the warehouse....

Thanks all for the great assistance.
