Reception needs to transfer some calls to external numbers

We have Local Link lines and would like to do an external transfer. (On a Norstar system we could do this using one of our telephone lines and using the 'Link' feature.) How do we do this using a 1416 telephone on the IP Office Essential Edition? Thank you for your assistance!

Simply transfer the call to the external number in the same way you would transfer it to an internal one
(Transfer, Dial Number , Transfer to complete)
this si something you should be referring to you maintainer to advise on

IPGuru local link lines are analog lines that allow you to transfer calls on the same line

You can program a button that does the hook flash on the line then it works the same way as the Nortel system did, dial and hang up.

This is a good feature actually, you can transfer calls without using 2 lines. ISDN is only used here as PRI's with 23 channels but if you have small businesses then it is nasty expensive if all you need is 4 lines.
SIP is taking over but that can also get rough if you are in rural areas and can't get decent speed so analog lines have their place still.

Have you ever heard of Ident-A-call ??

that is used to have different ringing patterns to signal different incoming numbers on the same line. You can only make 1 call at the time but if you have a business, home and fax number you can save money by only having 1 line with 3 numbers and each device gets their ring pattern sent to them.
I thought that was the coolest thing when I first discovered this. Coming from a BRI with 3 numbers and 2 b-channels that was the next best thing and dirt cheap compared to my old ISDN and you could use any cheap analog phone for it.
