I cannot get this to work... and feel like an ...

I have centralized Voicemail Pro and on my remote sites I want to use the breakout/reception feature but when I put in my reception hunt group number (7300) which is located at the main site, I receive a message stating "No Operator Defined". I have tried using both 7300, 0.... Any ideas?

Sorry, forgot to add VMPro 4.0.18 2 x IPO's 500 and one 412.

Did you create a short code 7xxx/dial/7N/IP line group on the remote side?

ron, I did try a shortcode, but not setup like that?

Is it like this:
Code: 7123 (for example)
Feat: Dial
Tel: 7N
Line Grp: 100 (IP Line to main site)

Thx

Try it like this

7123
Dial or dial ext
7123
Line for IP trunk

The issue with your is the telephone number. It is looking for more numbers. You are telling the system when you see 7123 to dial just the 7 and then another number. That other number is not in the short code string.

kwing, I tried it like this:

Code: 7300 (is the hunt grp at the main site)
Feat: Dial
Tel: 7300
Line Grp: 100 (IP Line to main site)

It did not work, is this how it should be setup?

That looks right. You can also try dial ext. when you pick up the phone and dial 7300 does it work? It should follow the same dial strig when you dial from a phone.

Your first shortcode is wrong. Try the one I posted. If you are on 4.0.5 and the operator is a group it will never work. There is a bug that prevents you from dialing group no matter what without the advanced networking license.

you don't have a group on each system called Recpetion do you???

check you have no duplicate names/numbers anywhere in the SCN
