receive email directly into sql server

I am trying to transfer information from exchange server to a sql database.
Every time when a new email arrives to a specific address i want all the details to be transfered to a sql server db.
Is there a built-in dll or rule ? can i write something using ASP to create this situation?
where do i start ? please help!

what email system/server you using? imail? exchange? jmail?etc?

if it's exchange you may want to look into the exchange forum for more answers.

otherwise most of the plugins for 3rd party mailservers/components will allow you you pull mail data and you could write that into a script/dll that would push directly to your sql db
