I've just reinstalled my OS (Win2KPRO) on C: after having formatted the drive. On an extended D: I kept a backup of all my files (easy now: I also have them on CD:s...).
Now, after the reinsatll I realize the system volume info folder on d: may be the 'old one' and I do experience some curious things with my apps (DDE errors in office for example) and I suspect my OS currently does not know about the d:-drive the way it should.
File system is NTFS throughout. How can I go about updating all metainfo in the OS about drive d:?
Regards everybody
