Since Avaya recommends to reboot the Intuity box every 90 days, does anyone know of a way to remotely do it without the standard power down? I normally do a shutdown locally, but would prefer a remote method. Any thoughts?
Check out faq690-2454 - on step 3.4, just press your "any" key to reboot.

Avaya does not reccomend a power down anymore. Only a "graceful reboot". U can only do a reboot remotely if u have the "reboot" command next to "shutdown" and "stop voice" on your menus. This ability is only on the later versions of a Mach 5 Intuity. Otherwise u must be onsite to reboot, or have someone onsite to "hit any key" to bring the system back up after u take it down. U can have Avaya do a remote reboot, they have the unix prompt to do it, but they will charge u.
