After looking at what is available, I have come to the conclusion that the Seagate/Certance TapeStor travan 40 is what I will probably be looking at for storage.

I am limited in budget, don't have SCSI & require tape - is this format & drive a wise choice?

In total (O/S, apps & data)I only have about 15Gb spread over two PCs. I am concerned over the time (in reality)that a full system backup will take, any ideas?

PCs are as follows;

P4 2.0Gh, Mild>fast workstation spec, Win2000Pro (10Gb data)

P2 500Mhz spec as you would expect, dual boot Win2000Pro/98
(5Gb data)

P to P network 100Mbps cards & switch, running TCP/IP.

I realise that this question might seem like a tall order,
but I am a newbie to this - is it 1/4 hour or 14 hours, I dont have a clue.

Any advice very much appreciated.
