read only access sql server linked table

I have a table that is a linked table to an sql server 2005 table inside of access 2000. The table is showing read only but I cannot find the cause of this read only status. I have checked the table setup in sql server and have found nothing that would cause me to believe this table was set up as read only. I have also searched for duplicate rows (there were none) in the event that this was causing the problem. Can anyone give me a clue as to where to go next? Thanks.

Forget my message. I found the problem. I set up the linked table wrong (too few columns selected in setting up unique record identifier).
