To disable, remove and re-seat an MC-32 card, do I just go to LD 32 and DISC 31 remove, insert and ENLC 31 ? (card is in slot 31)?

That's about right. You can also use the command IDC 31 to check that you are working on the correct card slot as it will print out the card number and serial code.
