I have to move the Avaya equipment to another network at one of my LSP sites. Below are the steps I plan on doing but I'm not sure if they are complete. The site has a G700/S8300 and 4621sw sets. It connectes back to a pair of S8730s running CM5.2.
1) Change option 176 in the DHCP scope with the new S8300 IP address for the MCIPADD and IP address of the new VLAN (L2QVLAN = x) [we only use 4621sw sets]
2) Change the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway of the S8300, G700 P330, MGP, VoIP
3) Change the MGC list in the G700 replacing the IP address of the S8300
4) Add new IP address range in IP-network-map. (We will keep the network region and location the same)
5) Route new network at all sites on Cisco routers.
Does this check list look complete? I don't have physical access to the site so I can't run the Avaya Gateway Installation Wizard. How do I change the IP address of the S8300, G700, MGP and VoIP? Once I change them I'm sure I'll lose connectivity. Will someone need to reboot the G700 or do I issue a reboot command after I change the addresses? Thanks
