Hi,

I want to save all the current indexes in my database into a script. This is so that I can drop the indexes, import the data and then run the script to create the indexes.

I know in Enterprise Manager, there is an option of Generating a script with the option of generating the index for each table. I do not want to create the table but to generate only a script containing the indexes.

Thanks in advance,
Vivek

1. Go into Generate SQL Scripts.
2. On the General tab, select the tables you want the indexes from.
3. On the Formatting tab, uncheck all boxes.
4. On the Options tab, click on the desired checkboxes under Table Scription Options section.

This will give you a file with just the indexes.

HTH,
Jessica
