We have re-installed the Microsoft Sp6a Service pack on our Nt4/Exchange 5.5 Server.

We have run the Baseline Security Analyzer program against those machines and have found several roll-up hot fixes that need to be applied.

My question is this. Do I need to re-apply any hot fixes ( 20 as of this morning) if I re-run the service pack again at a later date?

Regards,

Jeff

Thanks for the reply Jim,

Microsoft kinda has a security Roll-up package for this .. It is Dated July 2001 though. There are several more hot-fixes that came out since that one. so i guess it is off to installing one by one..

I am wondering what everyone is using to check and keep their systems up to date and secure. We currently have a mix of Nt4 and 2000 servers, and keeping up with all the hotfixes and security patches for each software is a nightmare.

Has anyone seen any issues with any of the latest hot-fixes.

Thanks for the reply..

Jeff
