I am trying to setup an RDP connection from outside to inside. When i try to set up the access rule i am getting the following msg:

Access rules on Pix are grouped by and applied to the incoming(source) interface. The new rule you specefied has a differnet incoming interface than the rule you selected as the refernce point before or after which the new rule is to be inserted.

I am putting this rule at the very top of my access rules.

Are you specifying the actual host address, or the NAT'd public address?

You probably have a line like
static (inside,outside) <public_ip> <private_ip> 255.255.255.255

so, the ACL would be:
access-list inbound permit tcp any host <public_ip> eq 3389

show an example of what your are doing (CLI)

What were you using PDM?

I was trying to do add the rule through the web interface.
I will try it through the CLI and see what happens
