Hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?
ras is a PPP login / password that sets up IP address to your server for telnet, ftp, ssh, scp, web browser http access, etc.
dadmin will login will not access a linux remotely over an inads line without first connecting with a ras login.
cm3 and earlier:
Command: add login xxxx (type remote)
cm4 and later:
cmuseradd remote dras (this will add ppp login dras from linux shell)
cmpasswd dras (from linux shell will let you administer or change password for "dras")
A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
