Our Back Up Exec seems to have a mind of it’s own when running hourly jobs, let me explain….
Every so often when a job is about to start running it pauses throwing up a message in Job Monitor saying Device Paused, I have found a short term fix by going to Devices, BackUp to Disk Folders then the folder named BackUp, the folder in question of pausing, then right clicking on the folder and selecting Properties then ticking the box which says Pause Device then clicking on apply then un-ticking the box and clicking ok, now for some strange reason the job becomes un-paused and starts running.
As you can imagine doing this a couple of times a day becomes annoying so if anyone has the solution or any suggestions that would be much appreciated.
