Hi

We are running version 9.1 of Veritas Backup Exec for Servers.

When I look at the logs the job is failing because it is trying to backup a directory that it cannot find.

Fair enough.

The directory that it is trying to backup has been moved to another drive and we no longer have a requirement to back it up.

What I did was to delete the old job and create a new job and didn't bother selecting the moved directory. The problem is that when I submit the job, the backup list still says it is trying to back up this directory on the drive that is isn't on any more - if that makes any sense.

When i go down the tree ticking the boxes of the files and folders that I want to backup this folder isnt there either.

Can anyone help?

Edit the selection list and there is a box to switch from graphical to text mode. Switch to txt mode and see if the invalid directory is listed and remove it.

The problem is in the selection list and not the job you re-created.
