QX4 will not open

Hi,

I have been using my QX4 for many years and never had a problem.
I was using it until 2 day ago with XP.

Now it wll not open. It loads for a few seconds and disapears.

I have un installed and re install but nothing works.

I had installed a firewall and another antivirus.

I un installed them but nothing has changed.

Can anyone help ?

thread260-525755 has not been answered, but you may find the question offers a useful steer. Your antivirus or firewall sounds like the cuplrit, and even though you have uninstalled them some unwanted files and system behaviour probably remain.

this exact problem happened to us yesterday. It was working fine and suddenly won't open. Did any of the suggestions work? Did you find out how to fix it?

Unfortunately I did not get any help, so I am still stuck.

I think I am going to save all data on DVD's and reformat the main HDD !

If you find any help please let me know. I would greatly appreciate.
