"You do not have access to logon to this session"

hello,

I have this error message each time a user connect. I have the same message connecting with the server administrator.

I checked the permissions for the protocol RDP and ICA, put "everyone" with full control (just to try) but same problem.

The only last thing I did was activating the server as a Terminal Server Licensing (as the terminal server client connections expired).

Did someone meet the same problem?

I forgot to precise: I work on Windows Server 2003

Try adding the users to the local group: Remote desktop users on the terminal server.

Thanks but I already did it.

In the same time, in the event viewer, I have this message which appears after each client connection issue: "the terminal server could not locate a license server".

I tried to force the default license server in the registry but with no success.

I think you might find that you have to go into local security policy and grant access to log on locally for the users u want.

I think it was more complex: we had to modify the key concerning the anonymous access: we had to choose "None, rely on default permissions" or 0 for the restrict anonymous value. By default this value is set to 1 ("Do not allow enumeration of SAM accounts and shares").

Moreover, we have to force the detection of the Licence Server in the registry, as it was never find (as we saw in the event viewer after each client issue).

So it was not directly a problem of permissions, despite of the issue message.
