I just started using InDesign from the CS3 suite and for some reason I have an "X" (white reversed out of a gray box) next to the page number in the page palette. Not all pages but most. The file I'm working was originally created in an earlier version of InDesign. Could not find anything in the help about icons on page palette. Are there any other gotchas in this latest version?

...are you sure it is an 'X' and not a checkerboard pattern like this?

...this indicates transparency is used somewhere on the page, use the flattener preview palette (window > output) to seek out where these elements are and how they interact with other parts on the page...

Thanks for the tip. You were right! I swear the older I get the smaller they make the icons, I better see my eye doc.
