Play it at least once, that should normally get rid of it.

Is there a checkbox 'Display when windows starts'? If so, uncheck it.

HELLO
is your problem occuring after you logon to the domain using the 3 box login window ?like user name password and domain ? then you get another windows logon screen ?

if this is the case the solution is pretty easy ,for one time only enter the same user name and same password you use to login to the domain
the next time you login , windows will match those to all login requierments and leave you in peace

thanks
joe

hi tried it, the thing is i have had my password chaged lately and when i type in my new password i get the message that incorrect p/w so then i type in my old password and the box closes, however because theis is not the same data as the first log on screen when i log on again the little welcome to windows screen appears agian!

HELLO AGAIN
im assuming that your password on the server was recently changed ,but the user name is the same for the domain and for the local machine , in that case do the following

start----find----files and folders and do a search for *.pwl
the system will list all the password files on your local machine , delete the one that matches your user name
next time you logon enter the same password as the domain one and you should be fine
in case the user name is different , again enter the same user name and password instead

thank
joe
