Installed a NM-1E2W in a 2610 IOS ver. 12.0(5)T1
doesn't want to recognize the module, but the module has been confirmed to be good in a 3620. Any idea's out there? If I need a newer IOS, is there anyway to get it if I haven't purchased support (or the router as it was given to us from a sister company) from cisco.

thx,
Jason

Hello,

i have the same problem with an 2610 and i also verified that the 1E2W is running in 3620.

Do you have already a solution for the problem ?

2600's don't support the NM-1E2W, NM-2E2W, nor the NM-1FE2W and the NM-2FE2W..

That is your problem, as for the 3600's only support this..
