"The save failed due to out of memory or disk space"

Hi,

I have recently implemented a NetBackup BusinesServer 4.5_FP3 environment and have started receiving the following error messages from users trying to save documents to network shares that are being backed up by NetBackup:
1. "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space"
2. "The disk is full"
3. "Word cannot save or create this file. Make sure that the disk you want to save the file on is not full, write-protected, or damaged"

I have found some references to similiar errors using BackupExec and the Advanced Open File Option, but nothing related to NetBackup. I did have the VSP option enabled, but have since disabled it in case it is causing the problem. Has anyone else experienced this???

Apparently there is an issue with the VSP (Veritas Snapshot Provider) option creating .vsp images and not deleting them when the backup is finished. This can cause a 'Disk Full' error, since the images are taking up disk space.. The recommended solution from Veritas Support is to upgrade to FP6; this issue is addressed in the upgrade...
