"Testing the registered server failed" error

I receive the following error when attempting to configure Reporting Services:

“Testing the registered server failed. Verify the server name, login credentials, and database, and then click test again.”

All other services work with the same credentials but not Reporting. I did not find much info online regarding the error. Thanks in advance!

Where do you get this error? Are you trying to connect to SSRS through Studio Management when you get it? or is this in the config?

The error occurs when I try to connect to the services in Studio Management.
