I have a customer that wants to record video and audio, and beable to play it back on a pc. I was thinking of recording somthing like and .avi or such. my problem is i can not seem to find a camera that will record both, so it will be "sinked" (together) on the .avi I really don't want to have it sound like a bad kung-fu movie!!. Any Ideas??

Use virtualdub at and time-sync it by hand. That's the only way.

Also, do NOT use the Fraunhofer MP3 codec for AVI's. Fraunhofer has horrible time-sync for long durations. Essentially, It'll lose a second every minute. It's horrible by the end.

cool, thanks i am going to try that. its even open source!! Thanks for the info. Any others will greatly help me in my plite
