When i try to open a new or an existing file Access gives this message:

FRetrySdm Error

What does it mean?I re-installed Access2000 ,still gives the error.
 
I can tell you exactly what is causing this but you won't like the answer and probably would rather not believe it. You are getting this message because you are infected with the Nimda32 worm.

It is documented on the MSKB under article number Q308360. You can go to any of the antivirus pages to download the cure.

Yes, you are right:)In fact i removed it from my computer several days ago.You mean it is still active? I used symantec's patch to remove the worm and it
 
There is an excellent virus scanner at If you do not have the virus you should not get that error message.

You might want to contact you AV vendor and ask them for information as to what is happening.
