Hi all,

everytime I start word XP as a normal user I get a dialog box "preparing to install", It installs something and goes away. Next time I start Word XP same thing happens, this is very annoying and I want to get rid of it, what can I do. I know it's an issue in word 2000 and you can add registry keys as explained in article Q274473 on the MS website, but in my case it doesn't help. Maybe it's because I'm using word XP?
Anybody other ideas?

Thanks
Wim

Have you tried the Detect and Repair option in the Help menu yet?

Try giving the user admin rights then remove the admin rights after the install is done.
