Hi

We have a backup server (Sun Solaris 9) with NetWorker 7.4.

My short question is now: is the "NMCASA:/gst....." saveset in the "ALL" saveset included? In the Admin-Guide is it not listed, or I can't find it.

Thanks

Hello,

I don't think so, since 'All' is depending on OS where NW is launched.

Under linux, it takes the /etc/fstab
Under AIX, it takes the /etc/filesystems
Under Windows, it takes the local drives and some system state.

For me, NMCASA is a kind of ASM which must be managed with a specific save.

Your question is relative to an upgrade of NW ?

denisfr is right : NMCASA is a different saveset!
It is saved using savepsm for the save command.
So it cant be included within the all Saveset.
The NMCASA Saveset represents the Networker Mangagemt Console Configuratiuon Database.
To my knowledge its a "light" version of Sybase.
So its a database saveset and no filesystem saveset.
Only filesystems are included in "All" (With Windows Systemsate et al. too)

Thank's a lot. That was exactly the info I needed.
