Dear All,

As I was searching the Crystal knowledge base for something I came across this.

This purports to be a fix for the problem.

I have been bitten by the dreaded "Invalid TSLV Record"
several times...and have seen posts here on it - so I thought I would post.

Crystal states: "After applying the Hot Fix, reports previously corrupted will open successfully without error. "

They further state: "When applying the CR80MAIN.ZIP update, it is recommended that the DBEXDRVR.ZIP update be applied as well. This patch applies to version 7 - 8.5 and is a Crystal Decisions Database and Export Drivers Patch.

I hope that this is helpful,

Just to clarify, the first "hot fix" that you mentioned only applies to CRv8.0 while the second applies to several versions.

It appears that the fixes in the first were already incorporated into CRv8.5. There is a separate hot fix for CRv8.5 that I wrote about in my last newsletter:

Dear Ken,

Thanks, I omitted mentioning the release on the first hot fix. I was just so excited to find that fix!

I always find your information very helpful.
