I have been alerted a few times of Hacker Attacks. The most common being Cloaking, i also get Ping attacks and NetBIOS Browsing alerts.

The Cloaking alerts are on ports 1026, 1434, 3012 and 4899.

The NetBIOS Browsing is always on port 137.

Could anyone let me know what exactly this means?

Hi,

Most will be programs doing systematic pings to see if they can find a machine, once found, they will then try to hack in.

As for specific port information, try looking at:-

This is a list of ports and what attacks those ports.

Cheers,
Carl.
