Hello,

I created a new user in Netware 6 - same exact profile as others in her department. She can see, open and modify network files, but when attempting to save, gets "Disk is full".

She can save to local PC and same thing happens on any PC so I've decided it must be a network rights issue. However, she inherits rights by virtue of being in group as do all others in that group. I've compared every aspect of her profile with other users and cannot see what is different; yet something is not allowing her "write" access rights.

Any ideas?

Thanks, jgiles

Do you have a space restriction on the volume that would affect her, or maybe to a folder

is it with excel?

check the effective rights and verify she does have neccesary rights and something isnt blocking them

What version of the Netware client are you using? If it is 4.9 SP1 that could be the problem. I had that problem with several users on new IBM hardware. Applying the postfix might fix it but may cause other issues. I suggest using 4.90.

Is it safe to assume you have already made these settings changes on your server?

SET CLIENT FILE CACHING ENABLED=OFF
SET LEVEL 2 OPLOCKS ENABLED=OFF

If not, do it.
