Occasionally, when trying to copy/paste values in a table in Enterprise Manager, I get an error message "CoInitialize has not been called" upon cutting or copying. The value I was trying to get is not passed to the clipboard, but if I used cut, it *does* disappear from the textfield.
There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the error's appearance: often there's no problem at all for a while, then suddenly it shows up every time I try to copy/paste. I can only get it to stop by shutting down the Enterprise Manager entirely and starting it up again.
I can't seem to find any mention of this error message in Books Online. Can anybody tell me what it is and what I can do to prevent it from appearing? I'm using SQL Server 7, should it make a difference.
Thanks in advance!
