quicktime wont uninstall

Hi, my itunes stopped working and i uninstall it and tried to uninstall quicktime and that is where the problem started. I got the error 2096 that loads of people get, but have tried deleting many ways and it wont go. Basicly i have got down to the problem but have no idea how to fix it.
When i go into program files/quicktime i can delete all fines in there except QTsystem. When i try to delete this it shows the same error that i get when i try many other ways to uninstall qucktime
CFchartactersetBitmaps.bitmap Access is denied
Make sure disk is not full or write protected.
I haven't been able to use my itunes in 2 weeks. please someone help!!

CFchartactersetBitmaps.bitmap I would find this file and take ownership. Alternatively, have tried Revo uninstaller?

I tried this but couldnt make it work. (ownership part). Revo has been great but it did not find everything with quicktime. It didnt even pick up the qtsystem file that i have errors with. hmmm. not sure what to do next.

Hi,
This may be an obvious question, but did you use the add/remove programs applet from the control panel?

How about the Uninstall option from the QuickTime start..progams..QuickTime menu selection?

Can you delete the QuickTime files from within Safe Mode?

I'd suggest that you reinstall the QT & iTunes, reboot, then uninstall (Revo) both again...

if that is a no-go, then you may have to do it manually:
