When the QuickReport OnPreview event exists, even with no executable code in it, the preview does not occur. Anyone know why this is happening or if there is a workaround? I am trying to establish if the user has hit the print button on the preview screen, as then I need to update records when DetailBandAfterPrint is called. So there may be an altogether different way to do it but I've not discovered one. (using Delphi4)

In case anyone looks up this question in future, I have found an answer. In the BeforePrint event, use QuickReport1.QRPrinter.ShowingPreview to determine whether a preview rather than a print is being processed.
