Hello, I recently setup a vpn using windows 2k server. The vpn seems to work great, but the users want to be able to pull up the books with as little work as posible, even only limiting the conection to the quickbooks files if need be. I was trying to tinker with scripts and such with no luck, as soon they login they want to be click away. What is the best way to go about having users easily access the books via vpn. Thanks in advance for the help.

well you need to allow all the MS SMB Netbios protocols through
just cause you can ping.....
then map drives in a group policy login....
they do login to the same server, right?

Internaly there is no login server, for the vpn they will all be using the same server to log in to. It wont be alot of vpn access, maybe 5 people will have access at the most.

I have tried drive mapping on the user profile side, and it has not worked, the drives arent getting maped, I may be doing something wrong.
