Quick question to settle an "argume

Quick question to settle an "argument"...

I know a lot of people use the terms "bouncing" and "flapping" interchangably. I'm under the impression that when describing circuit problems you should use the term "bounce" and when you are talking interfaces, use the term "flap". Anyone have any insight?

I would have to agree with you there. However, I might "bounce" the router by re-loading it, but then again I might just "flap" the interface.
