Quick question about reindexing 1

Does reindexing a table need as much free space as the table takes up? We have a 70 gig table and was wondering if we would need 140 gigs to reindex the clustered index.

Just covered that in ms's programming sql server2000 class today. You need and additional 1.2 times the size of the file. you should have atlease 154gig.
