Does anybody know how to get the quick launch bar on a NT4 system? After fresh installs on the machines and IE6 installed the quick launch task bar that all my users like isn't there anymore. Any ideas?

Quick launch is part of Active Desktop which comes with IE4. If you've installed IE6 then you won't get it. There is a way to add it to a fresh IE5 installation (eg see but I don't know whether this will work for IE6. I guess you could try it out.

Solved! If you download the Administration Kit for IE6, you can customise an installtion which includes the Active Desktop and Quick Launch toolbar. You can also set backgrounds, initial load page, toolbars and more.
