Quick launch toolbar and IE5.5

I have had to format my hard drive and reinstall all my software. I have installed IE5.5 but do not have the quick launch toolbar I had before (presumably because I had updated from an earlier version which had this facility).

Is there an easy way to get this? I have tried to find a version of IE4 (which had this facility) but I cannot find one.

I eventually found a quick solution:
Run the following (this is case sensitive)

IE5SETUP.EXE /C:"ie5wzd /e:IE4Shell_NTx86"


This will install the quick launch toolbar!

Yes, this command did work.. BUT START MENU DISAPPEARED!!! I can't get to the start menu.. but i do have my quick launch..

Any idea on how to get the Start menu back?

Sorry, but I do not know the answer. I got the solution (which worked pewrfectly for me) by extended searches through this site.

Hopefully someone else can help you.

right click on the start bar and choose properties. click the advanced tab and you can get your start menu back from there. Also, if you right click on the start bar and choose TOOLBARS, you can pick which ones you want, including the quick-launch toolbar.
