Hi,

I'm new to WAS and I'm playing around with it to compare using WAS to BEA and Oracle. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to setup a connection pool in WAS 4.0 (using it on Win 2K prof server). Can someone please lead me in the right direction? I have setup a JDBC Driver Reference in the admin console, but I can't find anything to do with a connection pool. The DB is MSSQL Server 2000.

Do I have to write this myself??

Thanks!

Are you using single server or advance server.

For single server, select resources/the driver selection (ie Oracle JDBC Driver)/select datasource. Under datasource, select new/or modifiy. On the screen, you should be able to review the connection pool's information.

Hope this help
