Is it possible?
OK, here’s what I had invisioned:

ClusterNode1 –
·Exchange 2000 Ent. (~110 users)
·Antivirus/Email Filtering
·DNS
·Failover for:
o SQL 2k
o DHCP
o WINS

ClusterNode2 –
·SQL Server 2000 Ent. (~110 users)
·DHCP
·WINS
·Failover for:
o Exchange 2k
o Antivirus/Email Filtering
o DNS

I have a Powervault 220s set in cluster mode. I thought with active/active cluster, both servers can view the shared storage at the same time. Or is an active/active cluster basically a dual active/passive? to where i would have to setup two logical drive spaces on the shared storage and two quorum drives?

If someone could help me in ANY way i would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

Your second assumption is right. MSCS does not allow you to access the same disk from more than one server. But you can distribute different drives so that a server is not just sitting there. So yes, it is a dual active/passive.

But, because only one server can access a drive, and you can only have one quroum drive, you will only have one quorum drive.

Also, in order to have a dual Active/Passive semi-cluster/NLB going, you will also need to configure a second IP address, and a second virtual cluster name.

let me know if this helps.
