Question re: Music-on-Hold 1

IPO 500 4.2; VM Pro 4.2 - is there ANY way to have Music-on-Hold (rather than ringing) play to the caller while they are in the process of transferring to a calling group from the autoattendant?? Have tried everything I can think of - and can't get it to work - including turning announcements on. All I can get is ringing tone. If announcements are turned - they play - but not MOH. For regular transfers and calls placed "on Hold" (inside) MOH plays as it should - but NOT when transfers occur form the autoattendant.

You can use an assisted transfer. that should play music.

Kevin - thanks - I did hear that - but what problems will that cause - if I have an overflow group that after 30 seconds transfers the call (if unanswered) to an outside phone number (offsite calling group)?

You can make the assisted transfer do that, there is a box that after a time you set follows whatever you link it to..in this case a transfer outside.
