How can I bind fields to records in another<br>Database ...and use DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord<br><br>In other words save records to a database residing on <br>another server ...<br><br>any help would be appreciated<br>thanks<br>john

You don't need a macro for this. Just link to the table in that other database and use a query to append new records or update existing ones.
