Hi,

We have one user who needs to autofarward certain mails (using outlook rules based on sender address) to external mail address, even when his outlook client is closed.

We have disabled “Allow automatic forwarding” setting in

Global Setting -> Internet message formats -> Default.

And there is no exception list available for this setting.

As this requirement is only for a single mailbox, we don’t like to create another entry in the ‘internet message formats’.

Can someone suggest the way to enable automatic forwarding for a single mailbox.

Thanks for any help/suggestion!

Create a "Contact" in AD. Put the user's external address in the contact. On the user's account, set up forwarding under the "Exchange General" tab to forward mail to the contact. This should bypass your Exchange Global policy.

Thanks PScottC,

However the requirement is to forward specific mails based on sender's address, not forwarding all the mails using Delivery option-> forwarding address.

Thanks for any help in advance.
