Question Mark in Device

There's a yellow question mark on one of my sound device. It seems that the sound device needs an IRQ, which is currently unavailable. The troubleshoot leads me to two options, either free the modem or the printer port. I do not wish to lose any of these ports. How do I add or find out if there is any IRQ available for this sound device?

Hi!

Try to assign another IRQ for your printer port/modem, then if your ports work fine, try to troubleshoot your sound card again, or also change its IRQ manually.

Any of my advices based on the my understanding of facts you supply.

Boot to safe mode. Remove the offending device, and all com ports from device manager.
Restart, and go into BIOS setup. Disable com 2.
Restart, reinstall. Cheers,
