A "question mark" icon (?) just appeared in the corner of the client area of a frame, just below the menu bar. The item shows up in both the designer IDE and in the compiled application. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to get rid of it?

Thanx.

Check these properties of your Form:
MinButton (set it to True)
MaxButton (set it to True)

WhatsThisButton (set it to False)
WhatsThisHelp (set it to False)

Have fun.

Thanx, Andy. The "What's This" buttons are set to false and the Min/Max button settings have no effect. So I am not having fun yet. [nosmiley]

Maybe you are refering to some other "?", I was talking about this one:

The 'hook' is on the left IN the CLIENT area, NOT the TITLE bar.

You have posted the link from your local drive which is not available to us.

May be you have unintentionally pasted a picture from clipboard on your form. Look at the Picture property of your form and make sure it is (None).
A picture will be helpful. If it does not work either then let us see how does the form look like.

Picture property is set to none on the form.

And yes I unintentionally pasted a clipboard jpeg onto the reply space. No picture will be forthcoming since the corporation does not allow uploads to sites like box.net

I have fixed this problem by reverting to the previous revision of the FRX file and adding the missing interface elements.
