question about icons <--easy!! 1

Can someone give me an idiots overview of how to change the icon of the .EXE file that is ceated from vb. I guess this is so simple that they do not explain it in the two books I have on vb?

I see the little icon selection drop down, however nothing is in it

you need to change the startup form's icon and then set the exe's icon to that form's icon.

to change the icon for the form. select it and then open the properties window and then change the icon property.

to change the exe's icon open the project properties from the project menu and then change the icon in the drop down. when you compile. voila. there it is. (it is alread set as the startup form by default)
