I have a problem I hope someone can shed some light on:

I have a 7min 40sec MPEG1 file (about 276mb in size) and I need to convert it to .flv for a CD Rom project. It starts out playing beautifully and looks awesome, but at the end, when the speaker is making closing remarks, the synchronization of the audio and the speakers lips dont match up...

The audio is just slightly behind the video, its just noticeable enough to finish on a bad note, and really detracts from the overall video (which, again, starts out great.)

I have checked the MPEG file and it plays just fine throughout, so the source video file isnt the culprit. I also thought it might just be pushing the envelope in terms of what flash video can do well, and I tried splitting the MPEG file in halves and then making TWO .flv files, thinking I could put the two .flv files in two scenes and it would play back fine, but when I do two scenes, with the two halves, NOTHING plays at all.

What else can I try here? Is there a way to 'chain' multiple .flv files?

I need the video to finish in synch just like it starts out.

yes, sorry, thought that point was clear since Im dealing with .FLV files.

I didnt choose to embed the video directly into the SWF file because of the synchronization issues that ALWAYS occur when you go that route.

I might try to see if I can detect when the 1st .swf (the swf that loads and plays the .flv file) has ended and then load the 2nd in its place... I'd hate to ditch the flash version of this CD Rom project and have to do it over in Director (using the original MPEG1 video file)!
